p.3 Brockville Regatta - The Recorder says it is decided to hold the regatta on the 26th, when a handicap purse of $100 will be offered, with three prizes, first second and third.

p.4 The Countess of Dufferin - The Cobourg Sentinel says: "Major Gifford, C.M. Boswell, Walter Graveley and two sailors left here on Monday for New York with the intention of bringing the yacht Countess of Dufferin home." It is not creditable to Canada that this splendid yacht has not been fitted up and given a second chance to win the Queen's Cup, which she would have a good chance of doing.
