St. Lawrence & Chicago Forwarding Co. - arrived - barge Mohawk, Port Dalhousie, 23,380 bush. wheat; schr. Gulnair, Toledo, 20,975 bush. corn; Belle Hanscombe, Milwaukee, 20,875 bush. wheat; prop. Prussia, Toledo, lightened 4,000 bush. wheat. Left in tow of Jessie Hall - barge Kansas, 20,875 bush. wheat; Tuscarora, 20,357 bush. corn; Jane, 11,380 bush. wheat; Albert, 12,000 bush. wheat; and schr. Hannah Elizabeth, coal oil.

Holcomb & Stewart's wharf - props. Dominion, from Toledo, lightened 4,000 bush. corn, and proceeded to Montreal; Ocean, from Toledo, lightened 4,200 bush. corn and proceeded to Montreal; steambarges Lincoln, from Toledo, with 17,000 bush. corn; Herald, from Hog's Bay, with 100 tons phosphate; barge Ox, with 160 tons phosphate. Barges Snipe and Hawk left for Montreal in tow of H.A. Calvin, with 25,000 bush. corn.

Port Colborne, Aug. 11th - Up - schooners Emeu, Ogdensburg, Cleveland, iron ore; A.J. Dewey, Fairhaven, Chicago, coal; Senator Blood, Oswego, Detroit, light; A.W. Luckey, Toronto, Black River, light; Bessie Barwick, Port Dalhousie, Windsor, light; Acorn, Fairhaven, Chicago, coal; Mystic Star, Oswego, Detroit, light; G.M. Neelon, Kingston, Bay City, light; Groton, Kingston, Chicago, light; Geo. Thurston, Toronto, Wallaceburg, light; Gibraltar, Kingston, Port Colborne, light; prop. Lowell, Ogdensburg, Toledo, gen. cargo; City of Toledo, Ogdensburg, Chicago, gen. cargo; Granite State, Ogdensburg, Toledo, gen. cargo; Garden City, Ogdensburg, Duluth, gen. cargo.
