p.2 The water in the Eastern channel of Toronto bay has become too shallow to admit of the passage of vessels. Monday the Algerian, on her way to Montreal, was stuck fast, and the City of Toronto was also obliged to return and pass through the Western channel.

p.3 Yachting - Mr. R.M. Roy, Vice Commodore of the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club, arrived in town yesterday with the yacht Resolute, en route for the Alexandria Bay Regatta, which comes off tomorrow.
