That Quick Trip - We were mistaken in the time recorded of the quick passage of the schooner Julia. Captain Tyo informs us that she left the Penitentiary dock at 3 p.m. on Thursday with a load of stone, sailed up to Cobourg, unloaded and took on a full load of wheat, arriving here on Saturday afternoon at three o'clock. Under the circumstances this was a quick passage.

Donation - Messrs. Calvin & Breck have placed in the hands of His Worship the Mayor the sum of $40, to be divided among the firemen who worked at the late fire on Garden Island. They deserve it.

Another Large Fleet - A telegram in another column announces the passage through the canal of another large fleet of vessels, no less than ten being loaded with grain for Kingston.
