Yachting - The Ontario says that efforts are being made to have a match race between the three fastest yachts in Belleville harbour. The season is getting rather late, and if a match is to take place at all it will have to be done soon.
Damaged - The Brockville Recorder says that the schooner British Lion, which was anchored off Long Point, is badly damaged, and fears are entertained that she will prove a total loss. She was loaded with coal for Brockville.
