p.3 Late Sailing - The Picton Gazette places on record the fact that the str. Utica, Capt. J.A. Porte, continued to run uninterruptedly, as far as the weather was concerned, up to Saturday last, the 29th Dec., 1877 between Picton and Trenton.

The Ferry - The ferry is still open, both the Maud and the Pierrepont having crossed today. Quite a gale was blowing down the lake this morning.
