p.3 The Hastings - It is stated that the Hastings will ply to Belleville as usual, and not stop at Picton, as was rumoured.

Marine Notes

The yacht Surprise arrived here from Kingston yesterday afternoon about five o'clock. While in Kingston she had her rigging overhauled by Messrs. Oldrieve & Horn, and received a new set of 21 flags - 19 small and a Jack and Ensign. The crew are composed of Captain Cummings, sailing master Claus and three others. They left for Trenton this morning. [Ontario]

Port Ryerse, April 10th - The schr. Maria Hall left for Buffalo with staves, and the Ellen Theresa left light for Port Rowan. She is chartered for the season to carry stave boards to Buffalo.

Port Colborne, April 10th - The schooner Riverside left here this morning for Cleveland.
