p.3 Marine Notes - The First Elevating - The schooners Blanche and Caledonia from Cobourg have arrived, consigned to the St. Lawrence & Chicago Forwarding Company, the former with 7,103 and the latter with 7,508 bush. peas. The elevating was done today. These are the first arrivals of the season. The same company has done the first elevating in the last three seasons, the S. & J. Collier being discharged last year on the 12th of April, one year ago yesterday.
