p.3 A Large Load - The schooner H. Folger arrived at Garden Island yesterday with the largest load of square timber ever brought down through the Welland Canal. It consisted of over 23,000 square feet of pine. The average load of timber, we believe, is about 17,000 feet, so that the Folger's load is a large one. A year or two ago the same vessel brought the largest cargo of wheat which ever passed the Canal.

The yacht Ina B., of Picton, arrived in the harbour this morning on a cruise through the Thousand Islands. She is commanded by her owner, Mr. Stanton.
