p.3 The Admiral - A telegram from Alexandria Bay, dated 3 p.m. yesterday, says: "Yesterday afternoon the Manhattan gave the Admiral up, being unable to pull her off the shoal where she has been for the past three days. This morning the steam tug Chieftain, owned by Calvin & Breck, of Kingston, took hold of her and succeeded in pulling her off in a very short time. The Manhattan tried to swing the Admiral off, but the Chieftain pulled her right astern."
