p.2 Launch - Captain R. Davis, Wolfe Island, on Friday last launched the new steamer built for Captain Rothwell for the Clayton, Gananoque and Kingston route. The boat is a fine one, measuring 83 feet over all, with 17 foot beam. She has a beautiful model, and will be quite an attraction on the route. She was built on the ice at Wolfe Island during the winter. The ice on which she was built was three feet thick, and has now been cut away. She will be ready by the 15th May. The engine is now in, having been made by Davidson, Doran & Co., of 30 horse power. She is a propeller, and is calculated to run at the rate of 12 miles per hour.
