p.3 Spring Assizes - In the suit of Fisher vs. Senkler, reported in yesterday's News, a verdict was given for plaintiff for $125.

Short Notes - Sailors are still agitated on the wages question.

The first vessel of the season arrived in port today.

New Vessel - The new vessel Prussia, one of the finest ever built at Garden Island, will be launched on Saturday. She will be commanded by Captain Thomas Donnelly, son of Captain John Donnelly. The vessel will be employed in the timber trade. She is a superb vessel and will do honour to her builder, Mr. H. Rooney.

To Gananoque and Back - The Pierrepont went down to Gananoque and back this morning making the first round trip of the season in that direction.
