Port Colborne, May 17th - Up - schrs. Typo, Oswego, Milwaukee, coal; M.J. Wilcox, Clayton, Detroit, light; Havana, Oswego, Chicago, coal; Senator Blood, Oswego, Toledo, coal; prop. Acadia, Hamilton, Toledo, light.

Down - schrs. E.H. Rutherford, Toledo, Kingston, corn; Victor, Toledo, Kingston, corn.

In harbour - schrs. Cataract, Gold Hunter, J.F. King.

The harbour is very quiet, scarcely anything doing at any of the wharves.

M.T. Co. - Arrivals - prop. Clinton, from Montreal, with 16,000 bushels of wheat.

Port Colborne - Up - schr. Miami Belle, Oswego, Toledo, coal; T. Sims, Oswego, Detroit, coal; Mary, Kingston, Morpeth, light; Russia, Kingston, Chatham, light; Fellowcraft, Kingston, Erie, light. Down - schr. W.B. Phelps, Toledo, Oswego, wheat; Blazing Star, Toledo, Oswego, wheat; barge India, Bay City, Ogdensburg, lumber; Eureka, Bay City, Ogdensburg, lumber; Dashing Wave, Bay City, Ogdensburg, lumber; Grace Whitney, Bay City, Ogdensburg, lumber; steam barge Glasgow, Bay City, Ogdensburg, lumber; Westford, Toledo, Ogdensburg, lumber.

The steamers Chicora and City of Toronto have been chartered by the Canada Southern and New York Central railroads to run between Lewiston and Niagara and Toronto in connection with trains from Buffalo during the season.
