Marine News

St. L. & C.F. Co. - Arrived - Eliza Quinlan from Port Hope with 7,800 bush. wheat. The tug Jessie Hall left with barges Iowa, 23,500 bush. wheat and corn; Lion, 11,965 bush. wheat; M.A. Grant, 9,800 bush. corn; "A.", 10,000 bush. corn. The tug Frank Perew arrived with barges Martin, Swan and "D." light. She will leave tonight with the same barges with a full cargo of grain.

M.T. Co. - Arrived - Anglo Saxon, Toledo, 17,700 bush. corn; Monticello, Toledo, 21,228 bush. corn; barge Harvest, Brockville, 16,500 bush. rye; schr. Speedwell, Toronto, 14,504 bush. corn. The Glide also arrived with five barges.

Passed since last report: Up - schr. Blazing Star, Oswego, Toledo, light.

Down - schrs. Augusta, Chicago, Kingston, corn; T.R. Merritt, Chicago, Kingston, corn; W.H. Oades, Toledo, Oswego, corn; Jas. Scott, Port Dover, Thorold, oats. Prop. Ocean, Chicago, Kingston, wheat.
