p.2 Mr. Lockhart, of Niagara, has some time since, launched from the dock there, another Steamboat. This is the third boat built by him, and each as it has appeared, seemed to surpass that which went before.
The present one is called "The Gore," and she now plies daily between Toronto and Hamilton. She is neatly fitted up, and in point of speed, no boat on the lake, we are led to understand, can approach her. On Monday last, she made her first trip down from Hamilton to Toronto, in four hours, including stoppages at Wellington Square, Oakville, and Port Credit.
From Port Credit to Macdonell's wharf, Toronto, she ran in one hour and five minutes - a distance of fourteen miles.
