p.2 The harbour of "Bond Head," in the township of Clarke, has been, by proclamation of His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, declared a port of entry and clearance. [Toronto Colonist]

On Thursday last, as the steamer Henry Gildersleeve was leaving this port for Hamilton, her boiler burst, and two men were severely scalded. They have both been sent to the hospital.
