Lake Hull Register, 1879
The steamer DOVER, Captain McSwain, has commenced running between Brantford and Buffalo. The DOVER is a new and beautiful boat, and Capt. McSwain is a son of temperance, and sails on strictly teetotal principles, consequently, all who travel with him need not fear those dangers and accidents so often occasioned by drunken engineers and brandy loving foolhardy captains.
