Charts Of The Harbors. - The following resolution was adopted at the meeting of the Board of Trade, yesterday morning. The importance and value of those beautifully and carefully executed Charts of our Lake harbors, got up under the immediate superintendence of Col. Graham of the Topographical Engineers, we noticed some weeks since. The only ones yet published are those of the Western Harbors, appended to Col. Graham's report for 1856.

But by some oversight, the equally valuable ones of the Harbors on lakes Erie and Ontario have not yet been published, although the report to which they belong has. We hope measures will be taken to have those documents, of such paramount importance to our Lake marine, published as soon as possible.

Resolved, That the President of this board be requested to take the necessary steps to procure from the Topographical Bureau, one hundred (or more) copies of the Charts of the Northern Lakes. And that it be the duty of the Sec'y of the Board to see that said Charts are properly distributed, and that proper receipts are taken for the same. T.F. Carrington
