      A new schooner, called the MAID OF THE MILL, of about 200 tons burthen, and intended for the Lake Ontario trade, was launched on Saturday evening from the shipyard of Messrs. Doolittle, Mills & Co. - Oswego Daily Adv.
      Daily National Pilot, Buffalo
      Thursday, August 21, 1845

NOTE:-- The 1845 MAID OF THE MILL is too large to have become the INDIAN MAID.
