Yesterday the steam boat TRANSIT (CONSTITUTION) made her first appearance for the season; but the wind having suddenly risen, Capt. Richardson, to the disappointment of numerous spectators and passengers, who had asembled to welcome his arrival, bore away for Rochester, without coming to the wharf.
