GONE TO THE OCEAN. - The steamer MAPLE LEAF, which ran this season between Charlotte, Oswego, and Canadian ports, has been sold to Messrs. Long & Deland, of Boston, and by them chartered to the United States Government. She is now on her way to the ocean. Once down the rapids of the St. Lawrence she can never return. A steamer of less capacity and less expense for running will be put upon the route of the MAPLE LEAF in a few days. -Oswego Times.
