Full Text

Oswego Seaman's Union. - An organization bearing this name has been formed in this city, and is now in a flourishing condition. Pursuant to a call, those interested held a meeting at the Music Hall on Thursday evening last week, when a Constitution and By-Laws were adopted, and officers elected.

Similar organizations have been perfected in nearly all the sea-port towns on the Lakes, and will result in benefit to our mariners who connect themselves with them. Over two hundred men have already joined the Oswego Union.
