FIRST CLEARANCE FOR LAKE MICHIGAN. -- The schr. STAR OF HOPE, Capt. McGaw, cleared this morning for Chicago, with coal. This is the first clearance for Lake Michigan this season. --- Oswego Times, 8th.

FOR LAKE ERIE. -- The schr. LEWIS WELLS, Capt. Harlow, took her departure this morning for Toledo with water lime and plaster, being the first vessel for Lake Erie since the opening of navigation. --- Oswego Times, 8th.
