New Tug. - The fine new tug Maria Melvin arrived here to-day, and will remain in this harbor during the fall. She is one of the handsomest and staunchest crafts of the kind that has been seen in our waters. She was built at Buffalo in June last, and is 60 feet long, 15 1/4 beam, 23 tons burden, new measurement, and is classed A No. 1. She is owned by Messrs. J.D. Murphy & Co., of this city, and will be commanded by Capt. John Parsons. Success to the Maria Melvin say we!
