Ogdensburg, June 20. -- The big Canadian car ferry stermer, SOUTH EASTERN caught fire this morning ay Buckley's dock in Prescott and burned to the waters edge. It is now sunk in about fifteen feet of water.

      Steam ferry SOUTH EASTERN.* Official Canadian No. 80690. Of 395 tons gross. Built Montreal, Que., in 1881. 182 x 30 x 10. * Renamed INTERNATIONAL in 1897. DISPOSITION: -- Scrapped in 1908.
