Along the Docks.

Commodore Thos. Crimmins and John Dougherty have been appointed collectors for the Oswego Towing Association, the former for vessels and the latter for canal boats. With collections in the hands of such honest, capable men, the business of the association will not suffer. The attention of all those interested is called to the extended rates of towing published in this issue.

Reduction In Prices For Towing!

Until further notice the "Towing Association" Boats will tow vessels at the following prices:

For Each Tow:
Grain Vessels
Carrying 16,000 bushels and upwards -in and out ,$8.00
"12,000 to 15,000 bushelsin and out,7.00
8,000 to 11,000"in and out,5.00
6,000 to 8,000"in and out,4.00
Lumber Vessels
Carrying 300,000 ft. and upwardsin and out,10.00
"200,000 ft. to 300,000 and out, 8.00
"180,000 ft. to 200,000 and out, 7.00
"140,000 ft. to 180,000 and out, 5.00
"90,000 ft. to 140,000 and out, 4.00
"60,000 ft. to 90,000 and out, 3.00
"50,000 ft. and underin and out,2.00

One dollar in addition to prices for Harbor towing will be charged for towing to and from New Harbor.

Canal Boats.

From bridge to docks and elevators on East side south of Cook's coal dock, $1.00 each way. From bridge to Elevator and docks west side, south of plaster mill, $1.00 down, $2.00 up. From bridge to East and West lumber docks, north of plaster mill, $1.00 down, $3.00 up.

From bridge to New Harbor, $2; from New Harbor to bridge, $1. Boats loaded with salt or plaster from bridge to salt or plaster dock and return $9.

Morey, Wheeler, Oneida,Harbor$7;outside $6.
Melvin, Dana, Spinney.Harbor$6;outside $5.
Small BoatsHarbor$4;outside $3.

Scows and Canal Boats engaged in shore trade will be charged same prices as last season. Special rates will be given for Lake towing on application to the Secretary.
