Along the Docks

Captain Berriman, the insurance inspector, has engaged George Goble to assist in releasing the schooner Kate Kelly, ashore below the east pier, and today the wreckers are getting derricks, screws and ways in position. The tug Sumner will arrive tonight and tomorrow will lend her weight toward pulling the vessel off. There is considerable water in the vessel's hold and several of her floor timbers are broken through amidships. If the wind should change to the westward and blow fresh, as there is every prospect at present, the Kelly would quickly be a thing of the past.
