The Kate Kelly is receiving thorough repairs at Goble & Macfarlane's, including new floor timbers, new pocket pieces, new keel forward and aft, new bottom plank on the starboard side, several strakes on the port side, new ceiling where required and new decks. Her bowsprit will be lengthened, her forestays will be fastened at the knight heads, and she will be given another jib.
