The tug Seymour and cutter Manhattan yesterday pulled the schooner Wood Duck ashore near the fort, but did not succeed in getting her off. She was heading to the eastward and the Seymour pulled her partially around and left her. Today's storm turned her entirely about, so that now she heads to the westward and lies easier.
