Schooner CATHERINE.* Built 1809. Captured by British at Mackinaw.
      * Renamed SEDALIA - British - 1812 [ caught in ice and abandoned, drifted down the lake and burned near Erie.]

      In 1810 the schooner CATHARINE was built by S. Thompson and others at Black Rock, which was also purchased by the government, and was in the battle of Lake erie, under the name of "SOMERS"
