McCarthy & Marsh have bought the wrecked schooner Wood Duck off her owners for $200. They paid $3,000 for her last year and expended considerable in repairs. They stated they would break her up as it seemed impossible to remove her as all the tugs were laid up or departed for the season. Capt. Marks received $2.80 for freight.
