Texas - On Thursday of last week, Keeper Chapman of the life saving station selected his crew for the coming season, which is expected to open April 1st. The members of the crew are Alonzo Morton, Perry Marsh, William Henderson, Don Calkins, Herbert Dennis of Texas, John Boyd of Mexico and Emery Tryan of Ellisburg. H. L. Dennis will be No. 1 or first mate, and Don Calkins the steward. The crew consists of the same men that were under Capt. Parker last season except Mr. Tryan takes the place of George Cole. Mr. Cole had the place offered him but declined the offer, thinking he could do better.
