HYDRUS (ex R. E. Schuck ii), 1903 Lorain, Ohio. Steel bulk freighter, 436 x 50, Interlake fleet. Lost in Lake Huron with all hands, 25 men. Capt. J. H. Lowe, Chief Eng. Calvier B. Hatch. Cargo, iron ore. This vessel along with numerous others were total losses in the Great Storm of 1913 which ravaged the lakes from November 7 through November 9.
