LAUNCHED. - From yard of Johnson & Tisdale, three masted schooner VANGUARD, length 139 38-100 feet, width 25 52-100 feet, depth 11 78-100 feet, and tonnage 392 58-95. Owned by Johnson & Tisdale and Crawford & Price, and will be sailed by Capt. John Booman.

RETURNING TO THE LAKES. -- Johnson & Tisdale received a dispatch yesterday afternoon that their schooner VANGARD had just arrived at Quebec from Liverpool, England. She left Liverpool June 27th, and had experienced a steady head wind during her entire passage. She brings an assorted cargo for Toronto and Cleveland. ---- Cleveland Herald.
