Steam screw ROCHELLE.* U. S. No. 92601. Of 582 tons gross; 470 tons net. Built at West Bay City, Mich., in 1894. Home port, Portland, Oreg. 176.8 x 35.0 x 11.2 and a crew of 23. Of 325 indicated horse power. Passenger service.

Taken to West Coast in 1906. Stranded May 2, 1908, at Yaquina Head, Oregon; 11 lives lost. Hull reduced to rock barge. Rebuilt as a bulk propeller in 1912.
* Renamed (b) ROCHELLE -US -1912 .
Stranded October 21, 1914, on C1atsop Spit, Oregon, and destroyed by fire.
