Kingston, Ont., Oct. 29.- The steamer ADMIRAL, about which there was so much talk in the recent government investigation, as being owned by Thos. McGrevy, M. P. and being engaged in government work, was a United States revenue cutter named the CHASE in 1860. She carried General Grant to Hayti, many years after.
