Transportation to Montreal

In consequence of the recent enactment of the Parliament of Great Britain, by which Ashes, Salted Provisions, and other Articles, cannot be brought into the Canadas in other than British Bottoms, the subscribers beg to announce to the Merchants and dealers in these articles in the Western Country, that their Boats and Vessels being owned and navigated according to the navigation laws; and their means of Transporting being very extensive, they can offer the greatest facility & security to the introduction to the Lower Canada Market, of property from the United States, on moderate terms.
