The Journal says our ship lock will be "of no use." because it is not sufficiently large to admit the "Steam boat Superior." This is trash--the reason should be stated thus. "Because it is not large enough to facilitate our annual labors in reclaiming the fugitive mud boat." 'Trifles light as air.'
