The trial trip of the stmy KITTIE DITZEL and her new engines were made on Sunday afternoon around Grand Island. New compound condensing engines of 35 horsepower which will develope a speed of over 18 miles an hour have been put in to replace the 7 1/2 horsepower engine. They were made by Sanderson of Syracuse. The yacht is 45 ft. long and 8 ft. 6 inches beam. Capt. Moon who built the boat and formerly owned her, was much pleased with her trip on Sunday and claims that she will be the fastest yacht on the lake or river.
