The Great Western Railway Co. has chartered Dormer & Allen's new steamer recently built by Mr. Osman, named the GRACE DORMER. She registers 100 tons, and is of the following dimensions: keel 78 ft.; beam 18 ft.; hold 5 ft. 10 inches. Her engine is 13 inch bore and 10 inch stroke, She is to be used as a ferry boat between this city and Fort Erie, and will accommodate upwards of 200 persons.
