The Cleveland Herald says: -- The schr. M.S. SCOTT, built by Captain G.W. Jones for D. Newhall, of Milwaukee, is now rigged. She measures---Length, 135 8-100 feet; breadth 25 91-100 feet; depth 11 feet; tons 358 58-95; and ranks A No.1. Capt. Jones built the schooner GERTRUDE, which made two trips last season, under Capt. Abner Stone, and earned the reputation of being very staunch and also a fast sailer. She weathered storms that drove scores of ordinary vessels into port for safety. The SCOTT will make the GERTRUDE look to her honors. She will be sailed by Capt. Lewis.
