Two new tugs, built by Messrs. Carroll Bros., were launched last Friday (5/3). They are siad to be fine, staunch appearing crafts. The C.C. McDONALD was built for Capt. H. Mallorn and will be engaged in the towing business with Capt. Geo. Hand's line of tugs. She is 53 ft. long and 12 1/2 ft. beam, with engine 14 x 16. The Thompson & Brothers bears the name of her owners. She is considerably smaller that the McDONALD, and is intended
for the canal business, towing canl boats, and so forth.
