      SASKATOON - Steel package freighter (C.1 53436) built in 1927 at Midland, Ontario by Midland Shipbuilding Company (Hull # 20) launched August 14,1927, for Canada Steamship Lines: 250.3 x 42.9 x 24.3; 2,412 gross tons. Powered by a 900 ihp triple expansion steam engine. Last operated in 1961. Laid up at Windsor, Ontario from 1961-66. She was used as a temporary breakwall at Two Creeks, Wisconsin from 1967-73. Raised and towed to Kewaunee, Wisconsin in 1973 and scrapped in 1973-4.
