Description
Full Text

The new barge now on the stocks at Mills & Co.'s shipyard, has been sold to J.C. Lockwood of Milan, Ohio, and others for $45,000. The barge is built of the very best material and is strengthened by iron straps. It is 198 ft. keel, 216 ft. over all, 34 ft. beam and 14 1/2 ft. hold. It has been built so that machinery can be put in when needed, but it will run this season as a consort of the prop. columbian. The sale of the barge in its present unfinished condition and for so good a consideration, speaks well for the builder.
