NEW VESSEL.---Quayle & Martin have contracted to build for Messrs. Hinkley & Vilas, a fore-and-aft schooner, of the following dimensions, viz:- 124 feet keel, 26 feet beam, 11 feet hold, 340 tons Custom House measurement, and calculated to carry 15,000 bushels of wheat. She will be ready to sail by 1st. of October next.------Cleveland Herald

SHIP BUILDING IN CLEVELAND. -Messrs. Quayle & Martin are building six schooners all of one mould, besides one launched about two weeks since. Dimensions: 124 feet keel, 26 feet beam, and 11 feet hold. Tonnage 340. Three of the above named are for Mr.Handy, of Handy, Warner & Co.,of this city, one for Hinckley & Vilas, of this city, and one for C.Y.Richmond, of Chicago.----Cleveland Gazette
