We learn by the Cleveland papers that the steamer ALABAMA was sold in that city on Thursday last, for the sum of $15,500. The Herald says, "It is not the first 'blow' she has staggered under, and survived."

      . . . . .

The steamer ALABAMA, lately purchased by Messrs. Wetherell, Moss, and others, came up to this place, says the Sandusky Register, on Saturday. A thorough examination of her engine, hull, etc., was made yesterday, and she proves in most excellent order. A week's work will put her in tip-top trim; and then she will again be ready to contest for the laurels which she carried last year, as one of the fleetest and most elegant boats on lake Erie. -- Her destination is not yet agreed upon.
