Launches- A vessel named the FRANCES PALMS, left the stocks at Detroit a few days since, she is a craft of about 500 tons burden, and is the property of Mr. F. Morell and others of Detroit. She will be commanded by Capt. Charles Gibbs, latterly master of the bark F. MORELL.
      The ALPENA is the name of a new schooner recently launched at Alpena. She is 250 tons burden, and can carry 100M feet of lumber. Another schooner is to be put on the stock, also 250 tons burden.
