Description
Full Text

The ALTAIR is the name of a new schooner of 412 tons burthen, just finished by Messrs. Jones, for Mr. Bugbee. She is another copy of the A No. 1 clipper schooner built by that enterprising firm for several of our vessel owners this season, and will add much to their already extensive reputation. The ALTAIR is to be commanded by Capt. Ewing , formerly mate of the barque BADGER STATE.
