The stm. AMITY, from Chatham, passed down yesterday en route for Montreal with a cargo of staves and 200 bbls. pork. On her return to Chatham, she is to receive a more powerful engine, and will hereafter be kept in the above trade, making 8 day trips. She is owned by Henry Eberts, of Chatham.
