Description
Full Text

The ANDES, for many years a well known brig on the lakes, which it will be remembered was dismasted on Lake Erie some weeks since and towed to this port for the purpose of being reconstructed, has been converted into a fore-and-aft schooner and entirely removed of top hamper aloft. She has been provided with new spars, sails and rigging and presents quite an improvemed appearance. It is but a short time since she was thoroughly rebuilt, and since the alteration in her fit out has proved a capital sailor. She left this port a few days since bound eastward.
